So, normally you would see me behind the camera taking photos of your beautiful families, loved ones or your product / brand! And although this is my favourite thing to do, ever (!!) Im going to be in front of the lens today and sharing a little bit more about myself.
SO WE WILL START WITH 3 FUN FACTS!
- Im also a qualified Interior Designer
- I am obsessed with gardening and regenerating native landscapes
- I shoot on 35mm film still!
How my journey started
My first love was photography and I spent years studying photography at High School and university. After all of this time studying I lost my love for it and decided I needed a break! So I moved to Melbourne, studied interior design and spent a few years working in the Design Industry. I love interior design, helping people turn their homes into somewhere they absolutely loved to be was really rewarding.
But after 4 years in Melbourne, I decided I wanted to move back to home, too Queensland, too many cold winters for me! So, when I moved back to Queensland, 2 things happened. I went from being white as white to red, to tan (yay!) and I got incredibly curious and passionate about soil health and helping create healthier farming systems in my local area, which happens to be one of the biggest agricultural hotspots in Queensland.
I found a job as a manager on a local organic farm and got stuck into it! I absolutely loved it, working out how we can have a lighter footprint on the planet, feed people healthier nutrient dense food and regenerate our native habitats were all achievements in my time there.

But Photography was always in the back of my mind! I ended up re-meeting the love of my life (we had a crush on each other in primary school and ended up reconnecting after I moved back from Melbourne!) and I decided that it was the right time for me to settle down and start my own business. So, here we are!
Im only at the start of my journey now, and I can’t wait to meet so many incredible people along the way, capturing love, laughter and good times. If you are still reading this, thank you! And if you would like to get to know me a little better, you can subscribe to my newsletter! It's like my social media since I don't have Facebook or Instagram.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed learning a little more about me. I hope I get to photograph you with your loved ones one day.
